Arnaud
This is a true classic. A lot of people thinks that cocktails are a trend from the last decade, but the cocktail excists over 200 years! The cocktails from the 'roaring twenties' are totally back in style.
During the Prohibition time in the USA (1920 till 1933) it was not allowed to sell or produce alcohol. The funny thing is that in this time the most cocktails were created. Many of these cocktails were made in secret bars. People had to speak easy to prefent the bar from being discovered. Therefor the bars were called 'Speakeasies'. There were aproximatley 50.000 speakeasies during the prohibition time.

cranberry

Cranberry Cooler
The name says it all, a lovely refreshing summercocktail. We developed several cocktails for Disaronno Amaretto and this was almost instantly our favorite. The sweet Amaretto is lovely balanced with the lightly sour cranberry juice and the orange juice. If you want to layer the drink, you can shake the orange juice with the Amaretto first and then shake the vodka with the cranberry juice. It will stay on top of the orange juice and Amaretto.

50 ml Orange juice

grapeson

The Grapeson
We made The Grapeson for DIF Magazine in cooperation with Jameson Irish Whiskey. The wish of the photographer was to create a cocktail that was not to be recognized as a cocktail.
By using liquid nitrogen (minus 196 degrees celsius) we were able to freeze several ingredients. By staking the ingredients we created an unrecognizable cocktail. By publishing the recipe next to the photo it became clear it was indeed a cocktail.
The cocktail is also very nice in a liquid form.
